New Front Brakes

Off to the track tomorrow to test out the new front brakes, it has taken ages to sort this one out - hopefully all goes well.

This is our last chance before the Nationals to test them out.

Track Test

Our run today was pretty successful. Both Mads and I managed PB's at Wakefield. Both of us are now in the 1:09's, unfortunately for me, Mads was quicker!!!!

The new fronts are four pot AP Racing Calipers with 330 dia 2 piece DBA rotors.

Looking forward to the Nationals.

Yeah enjoyed it, thanks for giving me a drive again! Might lose it though if I keep going faster!

Brakes felt good, plenty of stopping power with no fade.

Here is my hotlap (1:09.4)

Uploading more videos overnight. Dad's 1:09.6 hotlap and my loss of talent moments in the wet will go up.

Hi Mad
Should have stayed on...the rain disappeared about 1:00pm and track dried out in most places. We had a good afternoon in the skyline
Would like to see your wet weather vids.
Looking forward to the long weekend
see you soon

Yeah we had to leave at 2:00pm at the latest anyway because I had work that afternoon.

Outside Views

Here is some of the external footage of the day.

Madisons fastest lap starts around 1:50 into the clip.

For what it is worth, below is my external run footage. I am sure some of these laps would have been in the 9's (but slower than Mad's).
