Wakefield Park - Speed off the Streets

Guys,
there are heaps of speed off the streets days in January at Wakefield Park.
I was thinking of heading down on either Monday 16th, Tuesday 17th, Wednesday 18th or Thursday 19th.
Anyone interested or have a preference???

Have fun Kim.

Wish I could go, but no track days for me for a while.

Cheers

From memory, the cost is $120 per driver per day.
Plus you also need a track license ($50 per person).
You can pay for a Wakefield Park track license (that does Winton as well if you are going to Shelbyfest in March) and it lasts for 1 year.
A CAMS 2S license would do the job if you have one of them.
Track time really depends on how many cars show up on the day. Normally they run around 15-20 munite sessions and they spilt road cars from open wheelers from tin top race cars etc.
A quite day may mean you get a run every half hour, a really busy day may mean a run every 90 minutes. If you are willing to stay all day, it does get quieter in the afternoon.

We have decided to lock in Tuesday 17th to head down to the track.
Hopefully weather will be kind because it turns out this is the only day we are now available to go next week.

Hey Kim

Have looked at all the weather maps and forecasts and fortune tellers and I think Tuesday is the go.
Will see you down there, if the forecasts hold

Cheers

Abbot123 – you should be ashamed of yourself – I always thought these dodgey adds were limited to idiots from far away – you are from Sydney for God Sakes!!!
I guess you will be banned by the time I post this.

Just some feedback on our speed off the streets day.
Car went flawlessly, Mads and I both had 3 runs.

I did a best time of 1:10.5.
Mads on his first day ever on a race track driving any car (never lone a Cobra) did a 1:12.0
